The Borough of Queenscliffe is sponsoring two places at an Eco Youth Camp to be held by the YMCA at Camp Wyuna late this month.
The camp, which will run from 13 to 15 January, will provide opportunities for young people across the Bellarine to learn more about sustainability through structured activities and engaging with other young people.
“Responding to climate change means equipping the next generation with the tools they need to protect our environment,” said Queenscliffe Mayor Ross Ebbels. “That’s why we’re proud to sponsor two places for young people to attend this fantastic camp held right here in the Borough.”
The 3-day Eco Youth Summer Camp will include cooking and nutrition classes, canoeing and a range of other outdoor activities suitable for young people aged 13-16.
Bookings for the camp can be made online at .
