Police have arrested a man and a teenager following a Prospect bottle shop robbery this afternoon.
Police will allege just after 1pm on Monday 12 August, a masked person entered a bottle shop on Prospect Road armed with a machete, threatened staff and stole cash.
The person left the scene in a silver Commodore sedan which was waiting outside the store with another person in the driver’s seat.
As a result of investigations detectives from Western District attended an address in Dudley Park and arrested a 17-year-old teenager from Salisbury North.
With the assistance of Police Dog Jax, patrols quickly cordoned the area and a second man, a 20-year-old man from Munno Para West was located a short time later.
Both the youth and the man have been charged with aggravated robbery. They are expected to be refused bail and will attend court tomorrow (Tuesday 13 August).
