Kalgoorlie Detectives with Arson Squad officers are investigating a house fire that occurred in Boulder in the early hours of this morning, Monday 20 November 2023.
Police officers on patrol sighted smoke about 12.50am whilst on patrol of the Boulder area and located a structure on fire at the corner of North Terrace and Lane Streets.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called. Due to windy conditions blowing fire embers and ash down the street, and the fire threatening neighbouring homes, the area was evacuated.
The fire was at a vacant home under construction and the home was destroyed.
