Police are investigating the break and enter of a shopping centre on Sandgate Road this morning.
Just before 5am, a car was driven through the entry doors of a pharmacy, setting off multiple alarms.
The vehicle was then driven into the front of two jewellery stores and display cabinets were broken before an amount of jewellery was taken.
The incident caused extensive damage to glass doors and shops inside the centre.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
