A man and woman have been charged after an alleged destructive burglary and attempted break in at two service stations overnight.
Around 1.15am, the pair attempted to gain entry to the front door of the Abbey Place business at Caboolture by using a hammer to smash the glass panel of the main entry door.
They were not able to gain entry due to the alarm being triggered and fled in a dark coloured sedan.
Twenty minutes later a black Ford Territory SUV pulled up outside a Bribie Island Road service station at Ningi and reversed though the glass doors causing extensive damage.
Police patrolling in Brisbane arrested the pair after allegedly attempting to evade police.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with a break and enter offence.
A 21-year-old woman has been charged with a break and enter offence and possession of a drug utensil.
Both will appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
