WHAT TO DO: If unsafe to stay, leave immediately. If unsafe to leave, shelter indoors immediately. Protect yourself against the impacts of extreme heat – wear protective clothing, stay indoors. Conditions will change, continue to monitor conditions.
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: A fire is currently threatening the Ali Curung community with flames impacting both sides of the Murray Downs Road. The school has been evacuated to the school oval. Crews are attending. Follow all directions of emergency service workers.
