We continue to be encouraged by the flattening of the curve across Australia and the low rates of infection across the Sunshine Coast. We hope that you are all coping, looking after yourselves and your families, and able to enjoy the sunshine, of course in line with restrictions.
A brief update on the latest business relevant information is below:
- The Business Roundtable continues to meet, providing an opportunity for our business community to share information, support each other’s initiatives and act as conduit to all levels of government. We encourage all businesses to feed their concerns and issues to their respective for tabling at these meetings.
- Leases and tenancies continue to be a major issues for landlords and businesses. A mediation service is being offered by the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman to assist small business operators to resolve complaints and disputes. Call 1300 650 460 or register at their
- Local food and beverage businesses are being encouraged to register for the local food and drink virtual marketplace – website – which was officially launched this morning. This website allows you to search and connect with Noosa’s food and drink businesses that are still operating during the pandemic, and importantly will serve to operate and support local businesses post the COVID-19 era.
- Council is still offering Business Support Services and the Business Mentors Noosa Hotline for businesses to access for free. These services can offer advice in a range of areas, from HR, Business Continuity to marketing and online retailing. Visit the
