Byron Shire businesses are being invited to celebrate the end of the year and inspect the new state-of-the-art Byron Bay TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre on Tuesday 5 December from 5:15pm.

The TAFE NSW Byron Bay Connected Learning Centre is offering courses designed specifically to support local businesses and industry, including media, health, tourism, construction, and hospitality.

“Council has been successful in receiving funding from the Australian Government under its Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and we are hoping businesses from across the Shire will be able to join us at the new TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre to celebrate the end of the year and check out the new facility,” Lisa Richards, Industry Engagement Lead, said.

“Owning or operating a business is extremely time-consuming so this is a chance for people to take a couple of hours to network and renew acquaintances.

“TAFE NSW will also be putting on some fun activities that are designed to highlight some of the courses on offer so people can expect a fun, light-hearted evening,” she said.

The event is free and open to all business owners in the Shire.
