Council staff are out in force continuing clean-up and recovery across the Shire, and it’s a lot easier now that most mobile and internet services have finally been restored.
Mullumbimby Flood Recovery Centre
Resilience NSW and Council are operating a dedicated Flood Recovery Centre at the Mullumbimby Civic Hall in Dalley Street.
Open from 8.30am to 5pm (7 days), the Recovery Centre provides face-to-face support for Byron Shire residents.
The following services are available at the centre:
- Resilience NSW
- Centrelink
- Red Cross
- North Coast Housing
- Legal Aid
- Service NSW
- Communities and Justice (DCJ) – Housing
- Services Australia
- NDIS
- Social Futures
- Salvation Army
- Social worker and counsellor
- Insurance
- Chaplain
More services will be joining the centre over the coming days.
