The highly anticipated Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize Presentation Night took place at the Cabonne Community Centre in Molong, drawing a crowd of over 90 art enthusiasts and community members. This prestigious event celebrated the remarkable talent within our region, fostering a sense of pride and unity.
Acquisitive Art Prize Winner
The top honor of the evening went to David Lake for his stunning piece, “Island in the Sky,” an oil painting on linen. David’s work captivated the judges and attendees alike, showcasing his exceptional skill and vision.
Highly Commended
Sue Hodge received a Highly Commended award for her artwork “Cadia Mine Wheelhouse,” demonstrating her outstanding artistic ability and unique perspective.

The evening also celebrated the creativity of young artists in our community, with awards given in both primary and secondary school sections.
