Call for ideas for My Community Project funding

Residents and groups who have a great idea for a project that will strengthen our community are invited to submit an Expression of Interest with Council so we can consider teaming up with you and helping to turn your suggestion into a reality.

Council is seeking your EOIs by Friday 3 May so we can review your idea and possibly sponsor your project under the State Government’s new funding program.

“I encourage everyone to take a look around our city and to come up with a great idea that will foster stronger community ties, make our community more accessible, liveable and safer and add to the cultural life, health and wellbeing of our residents,” said Mayor George Brticevic said.

“We want to hear your ideas and suggestions on how to make Campbelltown an even better place to live, work and relax,” he said.

My Community Project grants of between $20,000 and $200,000 are available.

Council will review all EOIs and if an idea is judged as suitable to sponsor, the project applicant and Council will then formally submit their applications for My Community Project funding by 2pm on Wednesday 15 May.

The successful projects, which will be chosen across NSW, will be decided by a public vote between 15 July and 15 August and the winners will be announced in September this year.

Council, as the project sponsor, will then deliver your project if it wins My Community Project funding.
