Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated burglary at a residence in Alice Springs on Saturday.
Between 10am and 3pm, a residence on Bokhara Street was allegedly unlawfully entered by an unknown number of offenders.
Once inside the offenders allegedly stole two compound bows, a number of arrows, a compound bow transport carrier and a hunting knife, before fleeing the scene.
Police attended the residence with members of Strike Force Viper taking carriage of the investigation.
At 3pm on Sunday, police identified a 19-year-old male allegedly in possession of weapons matching the description of those stolen. The weapons were located inside a residence on Woods Terrace and seized.
The male fled the scene prior to police arrival and remains outstanding.
Police investigations continued and the remaining stolen items were quickly located at another residence in Bokhara Street.
All stolen weapons have now been recovered.
Several suspects have been identified with Strike Force Viper continuing to investigate the matter.
Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Budge said, “I commend the investigative work of our police in locating and seizing the stolen weapons quickly.
“We would remind the public in possession of such lawful weapons to ensure they are securely locked away, including ensuring your residence is properly secured at all times.”
