Police are calling for information from the public in relation to missing person Kane Dallow.
Detective Acting Inspector Andrew Hanson said Mr Dallow was reported missing on Monday evening, when his vacant car was located at Poatina about 7pm.
“He was last in contact with family shortly after 4:30pm that day,” he said.
“Police searched the area that evening using drones, and extensive ground and air searches continued the next morning utilising Tasmania Police search and rescue personnel and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.”
“Unfortunately we have not been able to locate any sign of Mr Dallow at this stage, and we’re calling for anyone who may have seen his car – a yellow BMW, registration E01YH – driving between Longford and Poatina to contact us.”
Mr Dallow was last seen wearing camel colour pants, a grey Carharrt hoodie and grey ‘Vans’ sneakers.
