Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to multiple disturbances in the Nightcliff and Coconut Grove area last night.
It is alleged that at around 9:15pm a female was indecently assaulted by a male at a bus stop on Dick Ward Drive in Coconut Grove.
The alleged offender was one of a group of three males who then boarded the same bus as the female.
It is believed that the group then alighted from the bus on Dick Ward Drive outside the Nightcliff Shopping Centre before throwing rocks at the outside of the bus.
Windows were smashed as a result of the rock throwing, with a 10-year-old child receiving a cut to their cheek. The child was conveyed to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The group was last seen in the area of the Nightcliff Shopping Centre.
The males have been described as Aboriginal in appearance. One male was wearing a dark t-shirt and black hat, while the other two were not wearing shirts.
Police urge anyone who may have witnessed these offences, including other bus passengers, or anyone with information to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
