Cancer Council WA has introduced accessibility and language tools on our website to help ensure online audiences can access content in a way that best suits their needs.
There is now access to a wide range of tools to customise the digital experience.
Working towards a more inclusive online environment is essential for supporting West Australians impacted by a cancer diagnosis, who may encounter barriers when exploring our website due to having a learning difficulty, disability, visual impairment or if English is a second language.
The Recite Me assistive toolbar includes:
- Screen reading functionality.
- Multiple reading aids.
- On-demand live translation feature which has over 100 languages including, 65 text-to-speech options.
- Styling options – changes to font size, type and colour.
To explore our accessibility support tool, click the ‘accessibility’ button at the top on our website. There is also a direct link to the language tool which can be accessed by click the ‘language’ button at the top on our website.
