The Rockhampton Riverside is set to be a hub of activity yet again this weekend as the region’s best culinary talent, winemakers, craft brewers and spirits producers come together to tantalise the tastebuds of Central Queensland.
Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow said Council was a proud supporter of the event.
“We are a festival partner and delighted to help bring this event to our region for what is now its seventh year.
“I am sure we are all excited to see pop up kitchens, wine tasting and live music bring a buzz to the Riverside Precinct.
“The Festival will again play host to signature events including Twilight Tasting, Chef’s Table and The Long Lunch, and some newcomers including Rockin’ Reds, as well as demonstrations by renowned local chefs, masterclasses and more.
“As always events like this require some preparation and adjustments to ensure the safety of event organisers and the community, so make sure you familiarise yourself with the road closures that start 4am on Thursday morning.
“The festival kicks off at 5pm on Friday so head down to the Riverside Precinct for what I am sure will be a fantastic weekend.”
For the safety of event organisers and the community, the below temporary road closures and traffic changes will be required ahead of, during and after this year’s Festival:
