Carols by the Sea is back following a unanimous decision by Councillors at last night’s Council Meeting.
Council recently conducted a review of its events calendar that considered feedback from the community on our past and current events.
There was overwhelming support for bringing back our very popular Carols by the Sea on the Brighton Le Sands. Council has listened to the community and this well supported event will be returning to our foreshore in 2023.
“We’ve listened to the community. Residents and visitors will again be able to enjoy this popular family event in such a picturesque foreshore location,” Mayor Curry said.
In addition to Carols by the Sea, we will also continue with our three family Christmas carols and movie nights at Bexley, Wolli Creek and Botany.
“We are confident that our revised Christmas program will provide families greater opportunities to celebrate this special time of year together in locations close to home” Mayor Curry added.
Dates will be announced closer to the time.
