CCTV appeal after arson attack Pendle Hill

Detectives have released CCTV as a part of a reappeal into an alleged arson attack last year in Sydney’s south west last year.

About 8.40pm on Wednesday 27 December 2023, emergency services were called to Stapleton Street, Pendle Hill, following reports of a vehicle fire.

The fire was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW; however, the vehicle was completely destroyed.

Investigators attached to Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident under Strike Force Veronica.

Following an extensive investigation police have released CCTV vision of two people who may be able to assist police in their investigation.

The two people are believed to be a man and woman, last seen wearing dark clothing and white shoes.
