CCTV Released In Appeal For Campbelltown ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Invasion

Detectives have released CCTV vision and are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate a home invasion in Campbeltown from December last year.

About 3.40pm Thursday 28 December 2023, emergency services were called to a home on Chamberlain Street, Campbelltown, following reports of a home invasion.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command arrived and were told two men armed with machetes forced their way into a home before threatening the residents, taking personal items, and fleeing the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident was commenced.

As part of the investigation detectives arrested the driver of a Kia hatchback, a 21-year-old man, however he was released without charge.

Following extensive inquiries police have released CCTV vision of two men police believe can assist with the investigation.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his early to mid-20s, about 195cm tall with a solid build.

The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his early to mid-20s, about 175cm tall with a thin build.
