Cervical Screening Communications Toolkit

Department of Health

Cervical Screening communication thumbnail

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. Most cervical cancers occur in women and people with a cervix who have never done cervical screening or do not screen regularly. Having regular screening tests is the best way to protect against cervical cancer.

We designed the toolkit to help you spread the word about the importance of regular cervical screening, and the new self-collect option.

The toolkit provides you with consistent messages about the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Cervical Screening Program (NCSP), the Cervical Screening Test, and the new self-collect option.

We encourage organisations, media and communication outlets, and other parties with large following/engagement to use this toolkit.

Get the word out to as many people as possible about cervical screening – you can save lives!

The toolkit contains:

  • key messages
  • social media content
  • links to videos and animations
  • images
  • case studies*

*You can use these as they are or adapt and edit for channels and outlets like email marketing and newsletters.
