Campaspe Shire Council will introduce changes to the opening hours of customer service centres with a focus on better meeting the needs of the community.
Chief Executive Officer, Mr Declan Moore, said the new arrangements reflected the need to integrate services and increase access to the community.
“For example, the change will allow customers to access public computers and library services, whether a library officer is in attendance or not,” Mr Moore said.
The new hours, effective from Monday, 16 November are:

In addition, customer service kiosks are now available at service centres enabling the community to look up anything on Council’s website, such as agendas and minutes, documents open for comment, general information, as well as pay an account online, or lodge a service request online.
Funding received through the Victorian Government’s Rural Councils ICT Infrastructure Program, has supported the installation of the kiosks, with further online support services planned.
“Once further online services are in place at each service centre, we will advise the community,” Mr Moore said.
Council will closely monitor the changes across the coming six months to ensure they meet the changing patterns of customer requirements.
