Homicide Squad officers have charged a man with murder following an investigation into an incident which occurred in Cable Beach on Monday 25 December 2023.
About 6pm, a 34-year-old woman was located at a residence on Roe Place with serious head injuries.
She was provided medical treatment at the scene; however, died as a result of her injuries.
Following inquiries, today, Wednesday 27 December 2023, a 30-year-old man – who was known to the woman – was charged with murder.
He is due to appear in Broome Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday 28 December 2023.
