Book Week Magic Blast
Get dressed up as your favourite character and visit Beaumaris Library to make some magical unicorn wands for Book Week. Using watercolour brushes, ribbons, and a touch of glitter, our magical unicorn wands will be the perfect addition to bring your magical imagination to life. Don’t forget, reading is magic

Book Week Storytime with special guest Samantha Smith
Join us for an extra special Preschool Storytime for CBCA Book Week, featuring picture book author, Samantha Smith, who will read her book “Harriet’s Hungry Worms”.

Book Week Magic with Elio Simonetti
Experience a captivating Book Week celebration with magician Elio Simonetti. Be astonished by his skills and awed by his magic. Not only will Elio entertain you, he will also teach you some amazing tricks that involve books. Come dressed in your Book Week costume or pyjamas.

Collect a Magical Book Week Kit
Can’t make it to our Children’s Book Week events in the library? You can still join in the celebrations by booking your very own craft kit to take home and create. Inspired by this year’s theme ‘Reading is Magic’, each kit contains everything you need to write and decorate a secret, hidden letter. Simply book your kit from the branch you wish to collect from.
When: Saturday 17 – Friday 23 August
