Children’s Week goes online with activities for everyone

Wildlife Xposure Xavier Morello

This year’s Children’s Week is going online, with a wide range of activities for different ages and interests.

From Saturday 24 October, parents and carers can access a range of free and fun online events.

Activities include story time, music and movement classes, playdough making and nature play, as well as lessons to make your own rocket launcher and backyard obstacle courses.

The activities, which are available to access at any time for a two-week period from 24 October, have been created by the Surf Coast Shire Council together with the Early Years Reference Group, which comprises local schools, kindergartens, child care centres and other early years services.

A highlight of the 2020 Children’s Week program is a live online interactive marine life encounter presented by Torquay business WildlifeXposure.
