Customer service centres
Our customer service centres will be closed on the below public holidays:
Monday 26 December – Boxing Day
Tuesday 27 December – Christmas Day (observed)
Monday 2 January – New Year’s Day (observed)
Our regular operation hours of 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, will remain in place for non-public holiday dates.
When we are closed, you can complete most . Or call our after-hours team on 9205 5555 to report a council emergency.
Libraries
Our libraries will have reduced opening hours over the holiday period. .
Returns chutes will be available at all libraries and items can be renewed online.
Leisure facilities
Burnley Golf Course and our leisure and recreation centres will have modified opening hours, as will group fitness timetables over the holiday period. .
Bin collections and recycling centre
This year, Christmas Day falls on a Sunday. This means there will be no changes to your waste and recycling collections during Christmas week.
Our recycling drop-off centre in Clifton Hill will operate on an adjusted schedule over the holiday period. .
