With Christmas only a couple of weeks away, the festivities across Hume City are continuing to ramp up.
There’s a variety of activities, events and pop-ups covering more pockets of Hume, with weekend activities and daily activations providing something for everyone from now until December 31.
Christmas will look different this year; while there will be no Carols event, there will be smaller pop up performances bringing Christmas cheer to more pockets of Hume. It’s different, but it will be safer for everyone.
What’s On In Hume?
We had a great time in Broadmeadows and Sunbury last week and now the animal farm and train is heading to Craigieburn. Registration is essential. Join us in Craigieburn this Saturday 11 December from 11am-4pm.
Seriously, who doesn’t love baking? Join our children’s Christmas cooking class and start that jolly holiday feeling early. We’ll be in Campbellfield Saturday 11 December 1.30-2.30pm and 3-4pm.
Our roving musicians will surprise and delight you with Christmas carols every Saturday in December, leading up to Christmas. They will be popping up in surprise locations around Broadmeadows, Sunbury & Craigieburn on Saturday 11 and 18 December from 4-5pm & 6-7pm.
Get creative this Christmas season and learn how to make sustainable Christmas decorations at our Sunbury workshop on Sunday 12 December from 10am-12pm.
Santa Claus has already sold out our Kalkallo event this Sunday 12 December, so get your free tickets to Greenvale on Saturday 18 December from 3-5pm before they go.
Join us for some free festive fun in the pools this Christmas! We’ve got some great activities planned at our Hume Aquatic and Leisure Centres on Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 December.
Santa Claus is making his way across Hume City on Monday 20 and Wednesday December 22 to a library near you. You can take your photo with Santa and make some Christmas craft to take home.
