Optus reveals Cloud-based calling and collaboration service. Optus Cloud Calling will be available from June
Cisco announces Optus Business as the first Australian telco provider of BroadCloud Calling a complete cloud-based platform which enables service providers to deliver voice and collaboration services over IP-based networks. From June, Optus Business will offer Australian enterprises a new cloud based Unified Communications service as Optus Cloud Calling.
Underpinned by Ciscos BroadCloud platform, Optus Cloud Calling will offer Australian enterprises a complete cloud-based collaboration experience leveraging Ciscos comprehensive collaboration portfolio. Capabilities will include enterprise telephony, native mobility and advanced conferencing and collaboration tools.
With Optus Cloud Calling, enterprises will be able to capture cloud computings business efficiencies, cost benefits and competitive advantages for their telephony services, said John Paitaridis, Managing Director of Optus Business.
