Renowned singer-songwriter Clare Bowditch is playing at Bayside City Council’s Live and Local event at Balcombe Park, Beaumaris on Sunday 17 March.
One of Australia’s top performers, Bowditch has won the coveted ARIA Award for Best Female and the Rolling Stone Woman of the Year Award for her contribution to Australian culture.
She has toured and performed at every festival, venue and truck-stop Australia has to offer and played with the likes of Leonard Cohen, Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, Gotye and John Butler, to name just a few.
Born in Sandringham and still residing in the Bayside area, Clare will be rocking out at this year’s Live and Local event from 3pm to 4pm.
Bowditch will be joined at Live and Local by childrens performers The Mik Maks, local up and coming indie-rock band Keaper, melodic singer Kezra and modern soul & blues stars CJ Commerford & The Supertones.
