THE CLIMATE COUNCIL congratulates Simon Corbell, current Director of the Climate Council, on his appointment as the Chair of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria. His appointment and focused determination to accelerate Australia’s clean energy transition places the Commission in a strong position to cut climate pollution in Victoria.
Climate Council CEO, Amanda McKenzie, said: “Simon has a wealth of experience and knowledge to support Victoria as it transitions away from fossil fuels to renewable energy and storage.
