Cochlear (ASX:COH) has announced that Sarah Thom will be its chief financial officer, effective 1 January 2025.
The appointment follows the company’s announcement in July that Stu Sayers, its current CFO, will be appointed President of Asia Pacific and Latin America from 1 January 2025.
Ms Thom joins Cochlear from BCG, where she is a managing director and partner and co-lead of its health care business in Australia and New Zealand.

Ms Thom has a PhD and MSc in astrophysics from the University of Chicago and a BSc in Physics from the University of Michigan.
