It may be the final day of the Australian Dental Congress Congress but there’s no sign of anyone slowing down just yet with an array of presentations on offer, the ADHF speaking on volunteering action and Congress Late Night to finish things off.
Presentation highlights
In amongst fascinating presentations by keynote speakers, highlights include but are by no means limited to, “Infection Control – important updates and current recommendations” by A/Prof Sharon Liberali, “Record Keeping: essential knowledge to avoid pitfalls” by Dr Elizabeth Milford and “Outcomes of orthodontic treatment – The Australian Story” by Dr Esma Dogramaci.
CPD tracking
Once again, don’t forget that the Loopd token on your lanyard will keep track of the sessions you attend and how long you’re in them for, taking all the worry and stress out keeping track of your CPD activity at Congress.
Making a difference in your community
The Australian Dental Foundation (ADHF) plays a vital role in providing dental care to many people in the community who might otherwise miss it with their Rebuilding Smiles program which provides dental care to victims of domestic violence.
Two key people behind the ADHF will be speaking at 4.50pm in Combined RE on volunteering action and how you can become involved in their vitally-important, lifechanging work.
Also make sure you drop into their stand, part of the unmissable ADA stand at the front of the exhibition (where there’s coffee!), and bid on their silent auction, raising funds for their programs.
Don’t forget the exhibition!
Open today from 8am to 5pm, you still have plenty of time to check out over 100 exhibitors including the likes of Henry Schein, Dentsply Sirona, Colgate, 3M, Extra and Listerine. Stop in, ask questions and get all the info you need on all the latest dental products and services.
Join the conversation
We have a hashtag #adacongress, you have access to Twitter and Instagram and all kinds of great content to tweet and post about it and we’d like you to join the Congress conversation every chance you get.
Have a great day everyone!
