With the women’s World Cup kicking off in November, the talented group hailing from five different Member Federations will be determined to impress the coaching staff with only 10 positions available in the final World Cup team.
New addition Briana Commisso (Capital Football) will enter for her first CommBank ParaMatildas training camp alongside 16-year-old Trinity McPhie (Football QLD) who is yet to make her international debut.

Head Coach Kelly Stirton is determined to field the strongest possible team when they return to the world stage.
“With the World Cup just around the corner this training camp will be crucial in selecting the team who will represent Australia in Spain,” Stirton said.
“There are no easy matches at the World Cup and with four strong teams in our group we will need to out-perform quality players to once again make the Final.
“Finding the right balance between FT1, FT2 and FT3 players is vital to a successful World Cup campaign and I’m looking for players who prove through their effort and determination that I need to bring them to the World Cup,” Stirton concluded.
The CommBank ParaMatildas have launched the Undefeated Challenge, a peer-to-peer fundraising event aimed at raising essential funds to send both teams to the 2024 IFCPF World Cup in Spain. Running from 30 September to 6 October 2024, this virtual week-long event encourages participants to run, walk, swim, ride, or roll as far as they can to support the teams’ World Cup journey. to learn more.
