Arson Squad detectives are investigating if two commercial property fires that occurred in the Mandurah District are linked.
The first fire occurred around 2.15am on Monday, 24 January 2022 at a barber shop located on Railway Terrace in Rockingham. The second fire occurred around 2.30am on Monday, 7 March 2022 at a tattoo parlour on Warnbro Sound Road in Port Kennedy. The fires caused an estimated $500,000 damage in total.
In both instances 3 to 4 people in dark clothing were captured on CCTV forcing entry into the buildings before using an accelerant to ignite a fire.
A white Nissan Navara utility with aftermarket black wheels and snorkel was seen in the vicinity of the Port Kennedy incident around the time of the fire.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
