The recent Heritage Bus Tours has been a delightful journey through time for our community. Participants embarked on a fascinating exploration of the Mornington Peninsula’s rich history and heritage.
The tours visited various local landmarks, offering a comprehensive look at the region’s past. Highlights included the Dromana Museum, McCrae Lighthouse, Collins Settlement, Sorrento Museum, Flinders Pier, Mornington Museum, Somerville Machinery Museum, and Hastings Museum. At each stop, attendees had the opportunity to view unique collections and learn about the area’s history, including significant insights into First Nations heritage.
