The Horsham Golf Bowls Club is one Horsham’s many clubs and services to benefit from Council’s Community Grants Program this year, receiving support for a restoration of the light towers at the bowling green.
Alongside a lighting upgrade to the driving range and putting green at the Horsham Golf Club , the Horsham Golf Bowls Club also upgraded to new LED lighting.
With the installation of new technology, the Club also sought to restore the aged and rusted six-metre light towers to provide a more inviting and modern look to the facilities.
Council contributed $2000 to the removal, priming, painting and re-installation of the towers.
The result has been praised by the Club’s patrons, and the upgrade will make the venue a more attractive location for tournaments and events.
