Campaspe Shire Council invites applications for round two of the 2023/2024 Community Grants Program, which provides financial support to Campaspe’s not-for-profit sector to deliver a range of initiatives that will improve the lives of people within the community.
Mayor Rob Amos said that these grants provide support to the not-for-profit sector to deliver a range of initiatives in line with Council’s vision for the shire to be strong, supportive, vibrant and sustainable.
“A maximum of $4,000 can be applied for to support community groups, clubs and associations with a broad range of programs, projects and activities that benefit local residents and encourage involvement in their communities.”
Applications for the Community Grant program open on Friday, 4 August and close at 4pm on Friday, 15 September 2023. Applications will be assessed against set criteria.
“Funding recommendations will be based on the applicant’s initiative in terms of improving the quality of life for our residents, fostering support across of a range of interests across areas such as health and wellbeing, sports, recreation and the arts, in turn strengthening community participation.
“I encourage community groups to plan their grant application early, and importantly speak with a council officer about your application to ensure it meets the guidelines to give it every chance of success,” Cr Amos said.
