Condolence pages to honour the life of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II can be signed at Hawkesbury City Council’s Administration Building and at both Libraries – Hawkesbury Central Library, Richmond Branch Library, and Hawkesbury Community Hubs.
Her Majesty passed away aged 96 on 8 September 2022 in Balmoral, Scotland.
Condolences will be bound into a Condolence Book and sent to Buckingham Palace and archived by the Commonwealth and may be displayed at its national institutions, forming part of the lasting record of Australia’s close relationship with The Queen over many decades. Hawkesbury City Council will also retain a copy.
The condolence pages are available for signing during opening hours for the next 10 days, however the availability may be extended if needed.

“Through her grace and wisdom as a steadfast leader, Her Majesty brought so much strength to her Family, our nation and to all realms of the Commonwealth.
“Over the 70 years of her reign, The Queen personified a life of duty and dedication; resilience in the hard times and joy in the good times,” Mayor McMahon said.
“The Hawkesbury has cherished memories of the Royal visits to our community in years gone by and we feel united by the memories we share.
“In accordance with Government protocol and respect, the flags outside Hawkesbury City Council are being flown at half mast and condolence pages are available so we can all can convey our personal messages to the Royal Family.”
