From July 1, the State Government is implementing a state-wide ban on the supply of plastic items. This means businesses can no longer supply items including disposable plastic straws, plastic shopping bags and disposable plastic cutlery.
The best way to help and support local businesses during this transition is to reduce your need for single use plastics.
Throughout June and July, the City of Swan will host a on how you can reduce your plastic. We encourage you to come along and learn about how easy it is to reduce your impact.
