Contact tracing is continuing for the recent cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnosed in the Northern Territory (NT).
All five people diagnosed in the NT yesterday – a Queensland woman transiting through Darwin, a couple from Katherine and a couple from Central Australia – had followed self-quarantine protocols after their arrival.
The Queensland woman in her 20s arrived in Darwin on Thursday 26 March on Qantas flight QF2 from London and went to Royal Darwin Hospital.
The Katherine couple, aged in their 60s, had returned from a holiday in South Africa on Silk Air flight MI801 from Singapore to Darwin on Saturday 21 March.
The Central Australian couple had been on holiday in Austria and returned to the NT on Jetstar flight JQ664 from Melbourne to Yulara on Sunday 22 March.
They are now in Alice Springs Hospital.
The Darwin couple diagnosed on Wednesday 25 March had returned home on Monday 23 March on Qantas flight QF840 after a holiday in the United States.
They had followed self-quarantine protocols and went to Royal Darwin Hospital after becoming unwell.
Anyone who travelled on these flights are asked to call the Public Health Unit on
