Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in Cooloongup on Tuesday, 19 March 2019.
About 5.20pm, a grey 2014 model Suzuki Swift was travelling in a westerly direction along Willmott Drive. As the Suzuki neared Grange Drive, the vehicle left the road and struck a concrete power pole.
The 40-year-old male driver received critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Rockingham Hospital before being transferred to Royal Perth Hospital where he later died from his injuries sustained in the crash.
