The ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Response Group for IV Fluids has advised that shortages of IV fluids continue and are likely to persist into 2025. Current shortages are particularly affecting supply of 1L bags of saline solution.
IV fluid shortages have been ongoing for most of this year and have recently been exacerbated by hurricanes in the USA.
