Corindi Beach and Evans Head are Leading the Way in the Holiday Park Field

Reflections Holiday Parks is celebrating confirmation that two of the group’s popular parks at Corindi Beach and Evans Head on the NSW North Coast are finalists at the upcoming CCIA NSW (Caravan and Camping Industry Association) Awards of Excellence.

Reflections Corindi Beach been recognised as a finalist for the Best Holiday Park Award, while Reflections Evans Head is a finalist in the Holiday Park Innovation Award category. The winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner on Thursday, 7 November 2019.

Reflections Holiday Parks Acting CEO Michelle Griffin said the Corindi Beach and Evans Head parks had caring, customer-service focussed teams and exemplified everything that the CCIA NSW Awards of Excellence stood for.

“I am so proud of these two parks; they have been recognised as finalists in two separate categories which confirm our Group’s commitment to providing exceptional holiday experiences and lifting our parks up with innovative new guest accommodation and products,” Ms Griffin said. “Both parks operate under a ‘go the extra mile ethos’ and our 13 new architecturally-designed, environmentally-sensitive villas at Evans Head are unique to both the Evans Head area as well as the holiday park industry.”

Reflections Corindi Beach Managers Amy and Jason Doyle have been managing their park since 2018 and are deeply entrenched in the local community.

Ms Doyle said they take great pride in the park and the satisfaction and wellbeing of their guests is a priority for them which shows in the positive customer feedback they consistently receive.

“We are so excited to be nominated as a finalist for Best Holiday Park and are happy that this paradise, we know as Corindi Beach, is being honoured in this way by industry giant CCIA NSW,” Ms Doyle said.

“We are very hands on here at Corindi Beach with a range of school holiday programs currently running. We want all of our guests to make memories here that will last a lifetime and we do our best to run a range of guest activities throughout the year. Our school holiday programs are particularly popular with everything from Mexican Fiesta Nights, musician nights, kids craft activities and face painting on offer.”

Reflections Evans Head Managers Scott and Katie Barnes have managed the park since 2018 and said guests were loving the innovative new cabins which have environmentally-sensitive design including solar panels, Tesla batteries for power, rainwater tanks and recycled timbers.

“Our cabins raise the bar for the level of accommodation one can experience within a holiday park and we are very proud that the CCIA NSW has honoured our park as a finalist in the Holiday Park Innovation category,” they said.

“Our $6.4 million premium villa precinct and redevelopment has also meant that customers who enjoy caravanning and camping now have access to 30 upgraded powered sites to balance our roofed accommodation with the traditional Australian camping experience that families also enjoy.”

North Coast Operations Manager Jennifer Scott said the park managers at both Corindi Beach and Evans Head are delightful with a real commitment to making their parks the best of the best.

“I have worked with Scott and Katie at Evans Head for the past two years and they always go above and beyond to take care of their guests; they promote a positive, helpful and friendly environment ensuring all guests have a memorable holiday,” Ms Scott said.

“Our park at Corindi Beach is also well-deserving of this industry accolade as the managers there keep their park in immaculate condition and treat their guests like family.”
