A child remains in a critical condition after being pulled from a backyard swimming pool in Sydney’s southwest yesterday.
Just after 6.30pm (Tuesday 17 December 2024) emergency services were called to a house in Moorebank, following reports a three-year-old boy had been found unresponsive in a backyard pool.
CPR was conducted on the child until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics. The child was taken to Prince of Wales Children’s Hospital at Randwick where he remains in a critical condition.
Police attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
