The December round of Council’s Grants and Contributions Program saw three community groups apply for funding to develop a range of activities and initiatives with wider community benefit.
The Ensemble Goldentree group received $1000 funding from the Community Events and Projects stream of Council’s Program to support three chamber music events to be held at Marysville Information and Regional Artspace (MiRa) in Autumn 2020.
Under the same stream, $4000 was allocated to Whittlesea Community Connections to kick off a ‘L2P’ driving program in the Kinglake Ranges area. The Skillhouettes business has a phone app for students and teachers that promotes physical activity, tracks motor skill progress and generates reports. This funding will assist them to develop a marketing strategy and business plan for their business.
