The opening hours of the customer service counter at Benalla Rural City Council are changing. From Monday 31 July the front counter of the Customer Service Centre will open between 9am and 4pm.
Current opening hours are 8.30am to 5pm.
Benalla Rural City Chief Executive Officer, Dom Testoni, said the decision to amend opening hours was necessary so that staff can allocate their time more effectively, ensuring they provide the best possible service to customers and community.
‘We believe this adjustment will lead to improved overall performance and customer satisfaction,’ Mr Testoni said.
Phone lines will continue to be answered between 8.30am and 5pm, ensuring ongoing accessibility and availability for inquiries and requests. Additionally, the after-hours emergency phone service will remain unaffected by this change, ensuring round-the-clock support for urgent matters.
Council remains committed to serving its community and welcomes any feedback or queries regarding the change in opening hours.
