Council advises that e-services will be unavailable this weekend to allow for a system upgrade. The outage will occur between 3.30pm (Friday 1 December) and 9am Monday (4 December).
During the outage, residents will not be able to use the Online Self Service platform to:
- Pay Council-related fees, such as rates, water bills and parking fines
- Lodge or review a development application
- Request a land record search
- Report a problem or request for service.
Residents can continue to pay Council-related fees through other methods, such as direct debit, Bpay or at Australia Post offices, and report a problem via the My Cairns app or Council’s website:
The outage will also impact the lost pets page on Council’s website. Details and photos of lost pets being cared for at the Animal Care and Education centre will not be displayed. Residents looking for a lost pet during the outage can contact Council by phone on
