The 2022/23 Byron Shire Council Annual Report has been reported to Council and it is now on-line and available to the public.

The Annual Report and Financial statements are designed to give people a summary of the work Council achieved in the 12 months to 30 June 2023.

“We identified 399 actions across all of our operations in 2022/23 and Council achieved 80 percent of them compared to 73 percent in 2021/22 which is a reflection of the efforts of staff and Councillors working together to achieve results for our community,” Esmeralda Davis, Director Corporate and Community Services, said.

“13 percent of activities were substantially achieved, meaning they were significantly progressed but not finalised, while five percent were partially achieved, and 2 percent were deferred,” she said.

  • Dogs in Public Spaces Strategy
  • Progression of the planning proposal for Short Term Rental Accommodation
