Council seeking insights from local businesses

The City of Casey has launched an annual business insights survey to help understand the needs and challenges of local businesses.

Open to all businesses operating in the City of Casey, the survey provides business owners with an opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives with Council and to help shape future initiatives and programs.

The survey will cover a range of topics, including the current challenges facing local businesses, opportunities over the next 12 months, and the services and support that businesses believe they will need to grow and become sustainable.

City of Casey Chair of Administrators Noelene Duff PSM said Council understands that businesses are continuing to face the challenges of economic recovery in a changing financial and commercial environment.

By gathering insights directly from businesses, we can better understand their needs and tailor our programs and initiatives to support them through their challenges and build our community’s economic sustainability.”

“As businesses in Casey valiantly work towards recovering from the challenges of the past years, we remain committed to supporting them now and in the future.”

The survey outcomes and actions will also support Council’s which aims to identify how Council and business can build a resilient local economy with more jobs of choice and a skilled workforce.

Businesses can complete the survey via Council’s community consultation website by Friday 31 March.

Survey respondents can also go in the draw to win a business development prize pack, which includes a $500 eftpos voucher, brand exposure via a feature article in the Backing Business in Casey e-newsletter and website, and four free business mentoring sessions.
