Would you like to have your say on future urban structures for the Deans Creek Precinct? We encourage public input from landowners and residents into our Deans Creek Precinct Structure Plan (PSP), which will be a detailed masterplan for the precinct to enable the development of land for residential purposes.
“There’s no doubt our region needs more residential housing options and the Deans Creek area offers a fantastic opportunity for future residents for decades to come,” said CEO Anne Howard. “Creating a Precinct Structure Plan is the first step in preparing the area as a new neighbourhood and helps guarantee a quality outcome.”
Council is seeking both the views of the community in relation to the vision for the future urban area, and in the case of landowners, preliminary development proposals.
Landowners will have the opportunity to present their initial ideas or proposals, or discuss the implications of the project for their land, with Council officers at the pitching sessions to be held on Monday 5 December.
To enable landowners to prepare for the sessions, an information session will be held on Monday 7 November, 5.30pm at COPACC. The information session will be a ‘drop-in’ format, and will be an opportunity for participants to speak to a staff member informally about the project.
Details of the sessions are as follows:
