The proposal seeks to combat Australia’s housing crisis by permitting a broad range of housing types in the R2 Low Density Residential zone and R3 Medium Density Residential zone.
The proposal received 20 submissions during public exhibition, including 13 in support, with the final version incorporating feedback.
Councillors will consider a proposal to rezone 1 Progress Road, Mount Hutton, from R2 Low Density Residential to E1 Local Centre, allowing for the expansion of the existing local centre through commercial development.
